Thursday 23rd September 2010 to Monday 27th September 2010.
Your car must be a classic style mini. This can include custom builds, standard cars, vans, estates, clubmans or any other car classed as a classic mini (if you are unsure, please call us). The car must have a valid MOT. tax and insurance. It is your responsibility to make sure your car is fit for the purpose. You are more than welcome to have decals put on your car for the rally and if you would like to theme your car and passengers this will award you with more points to get towards winning the prizes at the end of the rally. Team numbers and Rally identity stickers will be issued to all teams with the information pack, sent out 6 weeks before the rally.
Teams are based on up to 2 people sharing, but participants can travel on their own if they wish. Extra passengers are allowed but carry an additional cost.
The Keen Rally is very competitively priced. Entrance per team is just £199 for to 2 members (if you book before the 1st April 2010) and that price includes the last night accommodation at top campsite in Le Mans.
Entrants entered after 1st April 2010 are prices at £225 per team.
If you have more than 2 members, extra team members are charged at just £35 each. This additional charge is for the campsite on the final night.
We would encourage every team to compete in the Keen Rally to raise money for charity, our personal preference is help for hero’s but any charity of your choice is absolutely fine. It is not compulsory to have a charity but strongly recommended, so the rally is not just fun but also for a good cause. There will be prizes for the team who raise the most money. A good way to set up charity funding is via the just giving website.
Accommodation is left up to the team to organise apart from the last night of the rally where we have hired a top campsite in Le Mans for us all to be together for the last night. This will obviously require all teams to take something to sleep in, whether you decide to take a tent, sleep in your car or sleep under the stars its entirely up to you. That leaves the teams just 3 nights to find accommodation for, at Dusseldorf, Salzburg and Bern. It’s entirely down to each team. You can get some very cheap deals on hotels online. Some teams take this option. Camping is always a cheap option and the weather should still be warm, whilst some teams sleep in their mini if they can find enough room!!
Teams are required to arrange their own channel crossings. Ferry’s are normally the cheapest option and we are now working with different ferry operators to arrange a good discount for all Keen Rally participants, more details to follow. Another option is the channel tunnel which has the advantage of being super fast. Whichever option you choose please make sure you arrive at Calais and also between the sign in times which will we confirm at a later date.
Booking your team on our Keen Rally is simple.

Step 2: Download an application form from this site, fill it in and send it back to us within 7 days of calling us with a deposit of £50.00 per member.. The Remaining Balance will be due 6 – 8 weeks before the start of the rally.
Its as simple as that.
During the rally you will be given several challenges consisting of many weird and wonderful things which are all kept top secret until we start. These challenges will gain you points, and the 3 teams with the most points will be awarded with some great prizes!
1st place team - £1000
2nd place team - £500
3rd place team - £250
Prizes will also be given for other things such as best car, best theme, as well as many more.
All these prizes will be presented in an after show party presentation held at the campsite on the final night of the rally.
Anyone who holds a full UK driving license can take part in our rally providing they are over the age of 18 as this is the minimum age of driving in Europe. Females are very welcome and this isn’t just for the youngsters, people of all ages are very welcome on our rally. As long as you have a good sense of humour and love a good challenge then you’ll fit in very well.
We obviously advice you all give your car a thorough check over before leaving the U.K. A fluid and brake check at least. We have chosen these dates so your cars should be running at the ideal temperatures. A small tool kit and some very basic spare parts is never a bad idea. At least have a spare wheel and a jack. One thing we strongly recommend is to get yourself some European Breakdown Cover at least to get you back to the UK, it’s not very expensive and in the unlikely event of your mini letting you down, it saves a lot of hassle and money!
After Travelling all day in your mini you will be ready to chill out and socialise with other teams and talk about the day’s trip. Each night we have a designated meeting point in a large bar or club to allow all teams to socialise with each other and build up a relationship between different teams. Extra points are awarded to teams that attend the evening’s.
Unlike any other rally we have great pleasure in inviting all our Keen Rally participants to a pre booked campsite for the last evening of our rally. The beautiful, peaceful setting is a great wind down to a great adventure. It also cuts the cost of one night’s accommodation and brings all teams together before finishing the rally.
Not only will you be able to camp at the lovely setting beside the lake we are also offering a 2 course meal for ever rally member, served in the evening when all teams have arrived. Following the meal we will be having the presentation for the winners of the fantastic prize money we have on offer, as well as many other prizes for many weird and wonderful things. The campsite bar facilities which will available from arrival until late into the evening and the campsite has some very modern, clean hot showers for all participants to use. The next morning a continental breakfast will be served with the option of tea or coffee and all teams are free to stay on the site for a "chill out" right up until dinner time before making their way home.
THE BEST BIT: All of the above including the meals, showers and tent pitching is INCLUDED in your entrance fee of our rally. (excluding bar purchases of course)
